Bird Bingo

During a major exhibition of Audubon's Birds of America at the National Museum of Scotland, the museum decided they wanted to give kids something fun to do while their grown ups were visiting. We created a set of illustrated birds that were dotted about the grand gallery of the museum, and a “Bird Bingo” worksheet, where you could spot the large illustrated birds and then find a new species of bird, name it, imagine its call, where it might live, and draw its home.

In addition to the bird illustrations and the worksheet, a Teacher's Notes resource was created for the Audobon exhibition, and a case study of my work as an illustrator, both of which were available as online resources.

What does the mystery bird look like? Where does it live? What’s it’s call like?
